The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine has an outstanding opportunity for a temporary Research Study Assistant to join their team. This is an hourly nonpermanent position expected to work primarily onsite. The hourly rate for this position is between $21.77 - $23.91.
About this Opportunity
Reporting to Lindsey Knowles, the Research Study Assistant is a highly motivated, interpersonally skilled, inquisitive, and organized individual who is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day administration of our research program focused on improving the lives of people with multiple sclerosis (MS). This is a great opportunity to obtain valuable experience as a research study assistant responsible for daily operations of research studies involving human participants.

Working Conditions
This position will work with clinical research involving human participants within UW Medicine and therefore clinical Responsible Conduct of Research training is required. The training requirement for this position includes UW Medicine-specific as well as general training.
About the Team
The Department of Rehabilitation Medicine is home to one of the nation’s leading multiple sclerosis (MS) rehabilitation research programs, which is excited to offer an outstanding opportunity for a Research Study Assistant (RSA). This individual will join the Multiple Sclerosis Rehabilitation & Wellness Research Center team at the UW Multiple Sclerosis Center, a comprehensive multidisciplinary specialty center that serves patients with MS throughout the Pacific Northwest. Current studies focus primarily on enhancing quality of life, improving psychological coping, and managing MS-related symptoms, including fatigue and chronic pain. Several clinical trials are evaluating innovative telehealth interventions.
